Employees enjoy complete freedom to use the card for services that are right for them.
HRA Only
If The Choice Care Card™ is funded solely by the employer, it can be set up in either of the following configurations:
1. Allow a rollover of the unused funds. Employers may choose to allow a full or partial rollover of the unused employer funds into their next year’s plan. This way, an employee can establish a balance in his or her account to cover out-of-pocket medical expenses in the case of an unforeseen illness. 2. Reset the employer portion of the fund back to zero at the end of the year. In this scenario, the employer retains any unused monies remaining in the account.

2. Reset the employer portion of the fund back to zero at the end of the year. The employer retains any unused monies remaining in the account at the end of the year. The employee portion of the fund is subject to "use or lose it" rules.
